Lunia Terms of Service
What Lunia is
Lunia is a training log that shows you how your own logged workouts relate to your own menstrual cycle. Lunia is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or claim to identify any medical or hormonal condition. The relationship between training performance and cycle phase is an area of ongoing, inconsistent research. Lunia shows you patterns in your own numbers; it does not tell you what your hormones are doing and it does not make health recommendations. Cycle predictions are estimates based on the dates you enter and must not be relied on for contraception or for diagnosing pregnancy. Always consult a qualified medical professional for medical advice.
Who can use it
You must be at least 13 years old to use Lunia, or at least 16 if you are in the EEA or the UK. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian’s permission.
Accounts
Signing in is optional: Lunia works fully in local-only mode with no account. If you choose to sign in with Google or Apple, you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. You can delete your account at any time from Profile, Account, “Delete account”.
What is free, and what Lunia Pro adds
Lunia has a free tier that stays useful forever, and an optional subscription. Nothing you have already logged is ever taken away from you, and logging itself is never limited.
Free forever: unlimited logging of every activity, cycle tracking (calendar, period, flow, symptoms, notes), the daily log, the rest timer, personal records, streaks and badges, Apple Health and Health Connect import, encrypted cloud backup, data export, share cards, and a curated starter library of sessions.
The free tier’s limits: you can browse the last 90 days of your history, keep up to 3 of your own saved sessions, and use the free rotating selection of the session library.
Lunia Pro adds: the full pattern analysis, the complete monthly cycle report, all-time history, the full session library and unlimited saved sessions, advanced metrics, CSV and PDF export, custom reminder times, and optional cosmetic phase palettes.
Features may change as the app develops. If we ever move something that is free today behind the subscription, we will tell you in the app before it happens.
Subscriptions (Lunia Pro)
- Lunia Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on where you installed the app, at the price and interval shown on the purchase screen at the time of purchase.
- Payment is charged when you confirm the purchase. Lunia Pro does not currently include a free trial. If we offer a trial or an introductory price in the future, its length and what happens when it ends are shown on the purchase screen before you confirm.
- Your subscription renews automatically for the same term unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple or Google account is charged within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Manage or cancel any time in your store account: on iPhone, Settings, your name, Subscriptions; on Android, Google Play, Payments and subscriptions.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
- Prices vary by region and are subject to change. You will be notified of any price change before it takes effect on your subscription, as required by the store’s own policy.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies, not by us. We cannot issue a refund for a store purchase directly, but write to us and we will help you with the request.
Your data
- Your training and cycle data belongs to you. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what is collected and how it is protected (client-side encryption for anything backed up to the cloud).
- You can delete your account at any time from Profile, Account. Export and local deletion live in Profile, Data and privacy.
Acceptable use
Do not use Lunia to violate any law, attempt to access another user’s account or data, reverse-engineer or interfere with the app’s operation, or use it in any way that could disable, overburden, or impair our services.
Disclaimer of warranties
Lunia is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly accurate. It is a training log built from your own logged inputs and, if you connect it, your health app’s data, not a certified medical or scientific instrument.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lunia and its developers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Termination
You may stop using Lunia at any time and delete your account from inside the app. We may suspend or end access if these terms are seriously or repeatedly breached, or if we are required to by law.
App Store terms
If you downloaded Lunia from the Apple App Store, Apple’s own Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the app, and Apple is not responsible for the app or for providing support for it. If you downloaded it from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to conflict of law rules. This does not remove any consumer protection you have under the mandatory law of the country you live in.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change materially, we will update the date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the app.
